When the fermenter is to be fed with liquid the various substrates are mixed in the mixing tank, such as liquid manure, solid dung, corn and recirculation solutions. This mixture can be pumped into the fermentation tank several times a day.
An alternative would be for example a solids dispenser.
For this task the demands on agitating devices are higher compared to the operations in receiving tanks. But here too the submersible pumps are the best solution because they can be adjusted in the best possible way to varying fluid levels and to different substrates.
